Aquatic and Wellness Office Assistant/Team Leader

Pay: $9.00/hour

Hours: Rotating Hours between 10:30am-8:00pm Monday-Friday and 7:00am-2:00pm on Saturday

 Assist with marketing merchandise (purchasing, inventory, sales, and tracking).
 Assist with work schedule of staff.
 Assist with entering individual schedules of trainers and massage therapists
 Demonstrate excellent customer service at all times.
 Proficient in the use of computer management system and tracking reports.
 Demonstrate strong understanding of basic reception/office operation and procedures.
 Keep accurate records of memberships payments and posting in computer system.
 Train staff members on the front office functions including the computer system and bookkeeping functions performed at the front counter.
 Oversee the front desk operations to ensure proper procedures and customer service is carried out consistently.
 Daily and monthly coding of membership accounts and billing to appropriately channel funds and credits.
 Demonstrate ability to answer incoming calls to effectively communicate with members and visitors, the basics of the aquatic and wellness programs and services and collect payment amounts.
 Monitor cleaning and equipment maintenance schedule and ensure that the wellness center and equipment is operational and clean.
 Monitor the exercise area, weight room, pool areas, and locker room as necessary to assist members and prevent safety hazards or issues.
 Run necessary reports as directed to pass financial, operations, and sales information to financial and business office.
 Print and mail accounts due for payment as directed
 Demonstrate knowledge of wellness packages and specific wellness services to communicate objectives and benefits to the staff and the public.

 High School Graduate or equivalent
 Highly energetic and ambitious to promote health, fitness and wellness
 Strong communication and organizational skills
 Proficient business skills including general accounting, billing and bookkeeping.
 Marketing skills
 Computer competency
 General Bookkeeping experience desired.
